Aside from just taking in the beauty of El NIdo, here are few other things that paradise has to offer for when you finally get the chance to visit:



For a long time now, El Nido has been receiving attention from local and international tourists as one of the most alluring destinations in the Philippines. Ranked 4th in the Condé Nast Traveler’s list of "20 Most Beautiful Beaches in the World”, El Nido is home to magnificent limestone cliffs, azure lagoons and white sand beaches.


Aside from just taking in the beauty of El NIdo, here are few other things that paradise has to offer for when you finally get the chance to visit:

1. Island Hopping


Simple is always best. This may sound cliché but you can never go wrong in joining tour groups that will help you visit and learn more about the many different islands in El Nido.


There are four main tours to choose from: Tour A, B, C, D or E but if you have time, join all five to explore and capture all the stunning views the islands have to offer.


2. Ziplining


How about ziplining from one island to another for an extraordinary experience that’s very similar to going on a magical carpet ride? Las Cabanas Beach offers this thrilling experience via a 750-meter long zip line to give tourists an eagle’s eye point of view of the beaches that’s better seen through the eyes than from that drone shot

3. Hike the Taraw Cliffs


Challenge yourself and reach new heights with a two-hour hike up Taraw Cliffs - the highest point of El Nido. Be prepared for a steep climb among jagged rocks and an epic view of the sunrise.

4. Go Sunset Watching


Make sure to visit Las Cabanas Beach for the best place to work on your beach tan and watch as the sun sets over the horizon. Make sure to enjoy delicious food and drinks from the many beach bars.

5. Visit the Public Market


This may not be a common stop-over for a lot of tourists but this is definitely a must-try especially for international tourists. Get a taste of the freshest and sweetest fruits the island has to offer. The tropical weather and rich soil makes for the perfect environment for growing the most delicious fruits you’ll ever eat.

6. Explore Marine Life - Scuba / Snorkeling


Experience El Nido on a deeper level and go on a dive in South Miniloc where you'll see the coral gardens and if possible, spot sea turtles swimming in the area.

7. Kayaking in the Small Lagoon


Rent a kayak to access the Small Lagoon, the peaceful turquoise waters is the perfect background for a serene afternoon of floating or kayaking. The Small Lagoon isn’t the only place to visit though so make sure to use this opportunity to uncover the secret beaches.


8. Explore the Caves


Aside from beaches, El Nido is home to some amazing rock formations, the Cudognon Cave is hidden inside a cliff. While the Cathedral Cave is where huge stalagmites and stalactites can be found hanging from the roof and growing from the floor.


9. Visit the Snake Island


Unlike the name, there are no snakes here, in fact it is one of the most unique spots in El Nido. The island arcs out into a sandbar that connects to the mainland during low tide and earns its name mainly due its shape. Walking along the sandbar surrounded by cerulean waters is an unexpectedly awe-inspiring experience.


10. Dive into Nagkalit-Kalit Waterfalls


Take the plunge into the natural pool of the Nagkalit-Kalit Waterfalls. Located between El Nido town proper and Nacpan Beach, tourists can choose between the big or small falls to jump from for a refreshing swim after an adventurous trek to reach the waterfalls.
